We’d go either for Dark Souls (or Kingdoms Of Amalur) or wait for the inevitable downloadable content for Skyrim. In fact I’m dreading finishing it, fortunately I’ve still got loads to do but my question is this…Having never played Oblivion is it worth going for when the sad day comes that Skyrim is exhausted and finished or is it a real step back or do I pluck up the courage and go for Dark Souls next or maybe both? Rich GC:Oblivion is a great game but Skyrim is its superior in pretty much every way. I’ve only experienced one broken quest where I’ve got a book but can’t pass it on the Brothers of Darkness one and a few freezes when loading, but other than that what can I say – it’s just amazing. Don’t get me wrong, they are fantastic (apart from the dreary Desmond) and I even enjoyed the first one again albeit being a bit repetitive. Probably because there has been overkill in the amount of games released. The general feeling after Revelations (at least between friends of mine and people on forums I have visited) is that it’s a little bit tired.I can’t quite put my finger on why I personally think this way, it is just a feeling I have had since playing the last game.
